This week, social media tackled the issue about what age is no longer appropriate to show significant cleavage. Susan Sarandon, age 69, appeared at the SAG Awards in what seemed to have been a black bra beneath her jacket with her considerable assets front and center.
Taste, style, courage, all come into play, but is there a rule of thumb for older women like when to cut your hair above your shoulders or when too much leg or breast are exposed? Does it appear we are trying too hard, or simply wanting to stay in the game with the best of what we got. The age-old motto, “if you’ve got it, flaunt it”, and certainly Sarandon has the chutzpa to carry it off.
