What is it about New York that makes us want to look good, just walking down the street?  Is it the energy and the people and the buzz of  architecture and the density and the vertical buildings?

Maybe, but it is there and it is a city that you can always find interesting and fascinating people in every neighborhood.   London has it is sections and Paris has it but New York has it hands down more than anywhere in the world.  Watch tourists watching New Yorkers.  You want to look good in New York.   Today I did look for a spring look.  Even with the newest spring styles, New Yorkers are still wearing black. It is the uniform of New Yorkers.  When in doubt, wear black.  I think the message of the day here is look as good as you can…makeup and shoes, and handbags, and Great jackets.
