Amazon is moving into the fashion world.  Yup, Amazon is planning to introduce its own brand of clothing.  The reason is that the monster shopping service says it sees gaps in what it can offer its customers.  And that is because many fashion designers and brands do not want to distribute their fashions and designs through Amazon which is perceived as a utility, not a boutique experience.  It is not the first place I think of when considering a clothing purchase.

Amazon is also moving into the food business.  I am not sure how I feel about this monster online and I wonder what will happen to smaller brands when Amazon has it own manufacturing label that it can offer online, free shipping.  Hummmm… I am never really comfortable when something grows so big and controls so much and is everywhere through all social media outlets.  What do you think?
