One of the great names in fashion passed away this week, Madame Carven was 105. Her contemporaries include Balmain and Dior. We salute her style and elegance and of course her longevity. Pictures from her 100th birthday celebration still show a woman very much in possession of her own particular sense of glamour. Ah the French!
