The fashion industry is finally catching up to video as the medium for marketing their brands. Today more than 80% of content online is video through social media and YouTube. 
The industry lagged behind, believing that editorial pages in fashion magazines and runway were the preferable options for getting their brands out. Today’s article from the Business of Fashion features a sampling of the “films” for designers such as Gucci and Emilio Pucci and Alexander Wang. One of the best to watch is the Balenciaga film, Une Incroyable Excuse, by director Danny Sangra. Using the talents of in-demand directors, these short films are fabulous, featuring clothing and accessories in outstanding vignettes.
