As two gals who much appreciate that we are still “above the grass” on Thanksgiving 2015, we would like to share some our gratefulness with a few clichés thrown in.

We are thankful for our children and grandchildren – when they were born  we hopped aboard that train and there was no getting off and how could we ever want to – they are magical beings

We are thankful for the partners who love us every day – some from the physical world and others from the spiritual one

Claudia would add that we are eternally grateful for the animals that surround us, adore us and seem to have little regard for a bad hair day

We are thankful that we have friends who knew us when, knew our parents when and therefore can understand our completely crazy take on any given mountain or molehill. We thought girlfriends were important in high school – little did we know how incredibly important they are today

It is not so much about stopping to smell the flowers but to reach deep and inhale the aroma of each day – there are fewer of those ahead than behind us, no matter how lucky we are

We are thankful that we have reached an age when it still matters to look smoking hot every day and to not give in to sensible shoes and barber shop dos,  but not to obsess about any of it – what’s the point really

We have learned this year that style is so much more than frivolous thoughts, it is a business, it says who we are, what matters to us, it makes us unique – yes sometimes foolish but still in the game. Bring it on~

We celebrate the journey and we will be with you all along the way

As we end our first Thanksgiving post, We also say a prayer for the world – that the unspeakable violence and loss that has enveloped us will stop and that men and women of good will shall rule
