We are sad to note the final chapter for LWren Scott. She was an amazing talent and just a month shy of her 50 birthday when she died last year after a battle with depression. We loved her style, her collections and at 6′ 3″ and lithe, she took your breath away.It now appears that her fashion house, long rumored to be in financial straits is closing. We celebrate her gifts and, as we mourn losses in our own “family and friends” this week, we also celebrate the gifts that we are given from others – no matter how long or short their time in our lives.
