Today we pay tribute to the extraordinary talent of Grace Coddington who stepped down last week after 30 years at Vogue.  Her career spanned our transition to adulthood and into what would become our own personal style.  She, more than anyone, was responsible for Vogue’s singular sophisticated brand.

imagesMs Coddington  represents everything that we have talked about since we launched our blog, that is fashion as art, a global economic force,  a catalyst for change for workers’ rights, and much more.

To look at her work in front and behind the camera is to marvel at the way each photograph tells a story. Her personal style was completely her own with her untamed flowing red hair and bold lips.  She is a giant in the world of fashion and, at 74, she is far from done.  We raise a glass to her:
