Lucy and I have pretty much had the same hairstyle forever. We both have shoulder-length hair that has to be blown dry.
Over the years, we’ve bought a lot of hair dryers. I remember when one of the best-known brands was recalled for having asbestos in it. There were only a couple of brands when we were in our twenties.
However, today there are many brands and they range in price from $40 to $400. What do you get from a hairdryer that is ten times more expensive? We thought perhaps you would get your hair dried faster but that is not the case. Interesting data here, but I am sticking with my $39.99 dryer:

It is possible that we can still be lured into making purchases because we believe that more expensive means better quality and better results. But here is something that is inexpensive and sounds like it is too good to be true. Here is shampoo that is only $5. We would love to get your feedback on this product – for $5, it is absolutely worth a try. We are going to try it and will let you know what we think:
