Fortune Magazine published this year’s top 50 most powerful women in the U.S. Women now run major corporations, until recently a man’s world, like GM, Lockheed Martin, Dupont, IBM & General Dynamics. Not surprisingly, the majority of these women are over 50. 
It is time that the fashion business and the media pay attention to this powerful demographic. That would be us! And we will continue our drumbeat to deliver stories about women over 50 – yikes even 60! After all, Anna Wintour is 65 and editor and chief of Conde Nast:
