As we begin our real summer of July, we look forward to lovely long warm days and a time to indulge in some great reading and to treat ourselves to delicious fresh summer recipes.
Strawberries are in abundance right now. Lucy haunts her favorite local farm for strawberries so sweet that she can’t resist nibbling a few while waiting in the check out line. Time to make strawberry jam!
Both of us have been across the pond to Wimbledon and sampled the most amazing strawberry treats that are as much a part of the tradition of this tournament as wearing white and a glass of Pims. I have fond memories of strawberries and Devon cream. OMG! I still dream about the strawberries and cream at Wimbledon.
