We see the future and it looks like it does not include shopping.
The demise of malls and trendy shops means that the days of perusing the latest fashions or enjoying a shopping trip with a girlfriend or perhaps a grandchild are passé. Amazon’s strategy to become the leading retailer of fashion in the world is on the near horizon.
We think something will be lost. 
Having just returned from Florida where we had a fabulous day of shopping in Palm Beach and its environs, I have to say I will miss the fun of shopping. Trying on impractical dresses and/or touching and comparing fabrics and 
laughing hysterically at how we look in some new style is shopping at its best. Now we will sit around and look at our computer screen:
