We continue to pay attention to how the fashion industry responds to sustainability as it relates to the environment and to workers’ rights.
We had never heard of the term “greenwashing” but this is an opportunity to look once again behind a company’s messaging and see what is really going on. Our ability to force change rests with our pocketbook and it is ultimately our call. Is H&M doing what it should and is that even possible given the volume of clothing it produces annually?
