Weddings, garden parties, graduations, celebrations -Summer is such a wonderful season for all things romantic & life affirming.
We are on the hunt today for the perfect dress to match the joys of the season and we think we have found our new favorite haunt at www.needleandthread.com Of course it is a British company. Who knows more about how to look completely gorgeous against the backdrop of pink roses cascading off of a garden wall than the Brits, all the while eating tea sandwiches of watercress and cucumber, holding a glass of Pims.
Dispel the notion that somehow lace (last week’s rant ) and now embroidery can accomplish the impossible by making us look both henny and ridiculous – as in “you are too old to wear that” at the same time. No Way!
Beautiful fabric, adorned with the most elegant of embroidery cascading ( a euphemism for not too tight) is an elegant timeless look. We think Needle and Thread has got it just about right.
Time to go shopping.
